Participants from multiple Asian countries will join cultural showcases, interactive workshops, roundtable discussions, and training sessions, along with visits to historically significant sites in Qujing and Kunming, two key cities in the Yunnan region.
Mahadi Sekendar, former General Secretary of the Jagannath University Cultural Centre, will attend the event with full sponsorship from the festival’s organizing committee.
A long-time contributor in the fields of education, research, culture, and media, Mahadi currently serves as a Staff Reporter at ATN News. Alongside his journalistic role, he teaches as a part-time lecturer at Sonargaon University in Dhaka.
Mahadi’s international engagements include participating in the World Youth Festival in Russia in 2024, following an official invitation from the Russian government. He also served as a foreign observer during the Russian presidential election, gaining further global exposure.
His academic journey includes completing his secondary education at Khulna Government Model School and College and higher secondary from Notre Dame College, Dhaka. He later earned his Master’s degree from the Department of Philosophy at Jagannath University, graduating first in his class with First Class results.
